(Derby, NY), a 4-branch electrical, plumbing and heating product distributor that also operates two registered Kohler showrooms, Inspiration Bath Galleries. The Hazard locations will continue to operate under the L.A. Hazard name. Irr Supply has 28 locations and five registered Kohler showrooms - Visionary Baths & More.
Riggs Distributing (Burlingame, CA) has been selected as the authorized distributor for
ASKO products for northern California, western Nevada and Hawaii. The national distributor, which carries Sub-Zero and Wolf lines, has added ASKO's dishwasher, washer and dryer brands to its offerings. Riggs Distributing has a 100,000-sq.-ft. showroom, office and warehouse facility.
Basco Shower Enclosures hired Banks & Head Agency

Bradley Corp.
announced that its Advocate Lavatory System and Aerix Adjustable Speed Warm Air Hand Dryer won platinum- and gold-level 2010-11 ADEX Awards for achieving design excellence. The Advocate Lavatory System (pictured) is a personal hand washing station that provides access to water, soap and hand dryer within immediate reach of the user, which minimizes dripping water and reduces waste of paper towels. It is designed with recycled content, a 0.38 gpm faucet and low-energy consumption hand dryer.
LG Hausys America named Shaw Industries
the sole North American distributor of LG Hausys commercial resilient flooring. This commercial partnership will officially launch in June 2010. Dave Thoresen, VP of LG Hausys commercial flooring division, will join Shaw to manage the entire commercial resilient business operation.

hosted a day of CEU-accredited educational seminars for architects and designers in its New York showroom, featuring tile industry expert Patti Fasan. Alsons Corp.
said that its Water-Amplifying shower head with Fluidics technology has
been WaterSense labeled by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The traditional version of the Water-Amplifying shower head is available at 1.5 gpm or 2.0 gpm. An adjustable unit is also available that offers a comfort spray setting and a high-volume spray, allowing the user to switch between 1.5 gpm and 2.0 gpm.
Sloan Valve Co.
offers sensor-operated dual-flush functionality to commercial restrooms with the hardwire Sloan ECOS retrofit kit, which can convert most manual and electronic single-flush valves to provide immediate water savings with its reduced flush cycle. Converting a 1.0 gpf urinal to a 0.5 gpf High-Efficiency Urinal Flushometer, such as the Sloan ECOS, would potentially save 20,000 gallons of water per year in an average men's restroom. The kits are powered by an easy-to-install low-voltage AC line. A battery-powered version of the retrofit kit and a complete Sloan ECOS Flushometer are also available.

Georgia-Pacific announced that its DensArmor Plus High-Performance Interior Panel and DensShield Tile Backer each passed a 12-week test, conducted in accordance with the
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's ASTM D 6329 protocol by an independent third party,
RTI International, between February and June 2009. (These results do not include DensArmor Plus Abuse-Resistant Interior Panels and DensArmor Plus Impact-Resistant Panels.) The DensArmor Plus panels were also GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified and GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified as low-emitting gypsum panels.

Both the Talis S and Talis C lines contain fixtures with a pull-down spout or pull-out sprayer, which can increase the working radius at the sink by nearly 20 inches and clicks back into place after use via a magnetic mechanism. The Talis S kitchen faucet has a high arc spout, angularly positioned handle and slim body. The Talis C features a flared trumpet-shaped spout, small rings on either end of the handle and a delicately detailed sleeve at the bottom half of the body.
