Price Pfister faucetFAUCET TRENDS FOR 2010

A faucet's design not only impacts a kitchen or bathroom's overall style
but can also affect its functionality
, resulting in sub-par water usage.
Price Pfister identified some faucet trends for 2010:

  1. Distinctive styles, finishes and configurations that coordinate with home décor. Homeowners are mixing and matching both contemporary and traditional faucets in the same kitchen setting.
  2. Textured and darker finishes like satin, nickel or bronze.
  3. Water-efficient performance that does not compromise water flow and style and WaterSense certified faucets that are lead free.
  4. Ergonomic with high performance. Modern pull-out and pull-down styles, modern single-lever faucets and high-arch spouts.
  5. Electronic and innovative technology, such as anti-splash heads and pause-control spray heads.

"More than ever we are seeing a demand from environmentally concerned homeowners who want to ensure their faucets are water efficient without having to compromise on its functionality and overall look," said Mark Wallace, Canadian marketing manager for Price Pfister.
