A Natural Retreat. Designer Nancy Sakino-Spears of Interiors by
Decorating Den used Monet's painting of water lilies as the theme for her
showcase exhibit at the 2009 Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show. In her search for
products that would create a relaxed master bathroom experience, she found a
durable acrylic block shower surround. "I tried to create a retreat in the home
to illustrate to attendees how they could get away from everyday pressures if
they had just one perfect room," she said. "The radius acrylic block shower
wall from Hy-Lite/U S Block Windows
played perfectly into my theme. Because it
was not as wide or heavy as glass block, I envision using this product in
smaller baths and older homes where there could be weight issues with existing
floors."
