BRIZOShower Power.  That has been one of the trends noted at various bath and kitchen trade shows. Homeowners are creating spas within the home and one of the components is often a multi-sprayhead shower (pictured here is the Traditional Total Escape custom shower system from Brizo ). It’s hard to find a bath and kitchen showroom that does not have a display of functioning showerheads. Supply House Times’ July issue will contain a feature on K/BIS that covers interesting products and trends, including the focus on innovative showerheads and new twists on water delivery, including from faucets.

On a sweltering summer day even the thought of water pouring from a faucet or a drenching shower can be refreshing.

According to an annual estimated cost from the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA) and Energy Factor (EF) from the May 2007 Consumers Directory of Certified Efficiency Ratings, the 13 million single-family homes in California waste approximately $5.1 million daily heating water with tank-type water heaters, equaling about $1.9 billion a year or more than $3,500 a minute. The Rinnai billboard features an LED display with a running daily total of the money wasted in California by heating water in tanks.
