Bath & Kitchen eNews for August 7, 2007 |

As many of us are experiencing, August can be extremely hot and humid. As the sun parches our throats and skin, it browns the lawn and withers the plants. Where is the rain? Where’s the water? If you’re looking for a good drenching to totally refresh, try the Jaclo
canopy showerhead (pictured). It virtually envelops the bather in water. Offered in round, oval, square and rectangular models, the showerhead is suitable for both residential and commercial spas without any special plumbing requirements. |

The new Phoenix Solar Water Heater (pictured) from
Heat Transfer
is the first solar water heater to combine domestic hot water storage with a 97%-efficient, gas-fired backup in one unit to meet the hot water demands of residential and commercial solar thermal systems. What also makes the sealed-combustion, direct-vent Phoenix Solar exceptional is its ability to deliver both space heating and domestic hot water in a single, energy-saving package. The Phoenix Solar incorporates a dedicated solar heat exchanger at the base of the unit, for transferring heat from solar panels to the water in its 80- or 119-gallon storage tank. Side tappings in the water heater’s jacket permit auxiliary connections to a hydro-air system for space heating.
