My Kitchen Remodeling Project Day 2

The floor is meshing nicely, don't you think? |
|
If every day is this easy, it’s going to be a joy remodeling our kitchen. In just four hours, the strong-backed demo guys smashed our kitchen, hallway, guest bathroom, entryway, and laundry room floors. This included the old tiles, cement, and mesh.
They carted everything away and cleaned up perfectly. They even vacuumed. This was very un-contractor-like compared with my other home projects.
Usually, the repair work is great but contractors leave a mess. Some of those contractors thought they cleaned up, but apparently we have different definitions of clean.
Other than the ear-splitting sound of breaking tiles scaring our dog, Day 1 was a breeze.
Today (Day 2) the rest of the new wire mesh is being installed in preparation for the new cement floor.
Yesterday Deb went to Ferguson to make some product selections. She picked a faucet, sink, disposal, and instant hot water device.
What did she pick?
You’ll have to keep reading to find out. I’ll divulge that when we get to the plumbing stage.
