Price Pfister, a Black & Decker company and a manufacturer
of residential and commercial kitchen and bath fixtures and bath accessories, announced
that it has partnered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) WaterSense
program to help consumers save water for future generations and reduce costs on
their utility bills. The goal of WaterSense is to decrease consumers’ indoor
and outdoor water use by promoting high-efficiency products and simple
water-saving practices. The Ashfield collection of lavatory trough faucets is the
first in a new lineup of Price Pfister product families designed to earn the EPA’s
WaterSense label.
The Ashfield faucets
feature a country-inspired design and are engineered to meet WaterSense
specifications. They represent the company’s new generation of “Eco-Pfriendly” products
specifically engineered to help conserve natural resources through decreased
water consumption.
Ashfield lavatory trough faucets flow at a rate
of 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm) and are designed to reduce water consumption by
30% without compromising the consumers’ water experience, the company says.
