Adelphi
Kitchens & Cabinetry has custom-designed and installed a
high-quality contemporary kitchen in Fromm Electric Supply’s new Lighting &
Appliance Design Center, a conceptual showcase for the residential remodeling,
building and interior design industry professionals that opened March 26, 2008,
in Allentown, PA.
As a resource for the trade, the new Design Center provides
a visual and hands-on experience. In a fully functioning kitchen vignette, designers
have the ability to show how various materials, products and lighting can
affect a room.
The Adelphi kitchen vignette features contemporary Legacy
modified door style cabinetry doors in a deep walnut natural wood, which is
contrasted by the island made of a light, speckled Birdseye maple wood and
black granite countertops with a unique milled finish. The walnut doors
feature different width stiles and rails and varying thickness between the
stiles and rails. The sleek contemporary design blends well with the stainless
steel GE Monogram appliances. The kitchen features Andes Collection Peruvian
Travertine tile and adjustable soft lighting from Translite Sonoma. The display
is fully functional to help educate potential consumers on the options available
to them for cooking and entertaining. Live cooking demonstrations are
planned on a regular basis in the Adelphi display kitchen.
Fromm’s Lighting & Appliance Design Center
features more than a dozen live displays showcasing lighting, lighting control,
appliances, home comfort products, cabinetry, countertops and plumbing
fixtures. These working vignettes include kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms,
laundry rooms, and a home theater.
