Bear Creek Glassof Orange Beach, AL, announced their
acquisition of Robert Jones Designs of Seattle, WA, becoming the largest
producer of designer handmade glass sinks in North America.
Joseph Thompson founded Bear Creek Glass in 2003.
Robert Jones founded his
design company in 1997. Over the year each have gained a reputation with
designers for creating inspiring high-end functional glass art including sinks
and lighting.
Each has their own unique style, Robert Jones in the classic
Italian tradition of glass blowing and Joseph Thompson in the contemporary
style of the American glass movement. Now both names and styles can be found at
Bear Creek Glass. Products can be seen at the Bear Creek Gallery in Orange
Beach, AL.
Robert and Joseph will now team up to create new
works of functional art glass including large commercial lighting
installations.
