To help homeowners better
understand how they can save water and energy,
Ferguson Bath, Kitchen &
Lighting Gallery;
Kohler and
Seagull Lighting will host a tent sale on September
12, from 9 a.m.–2 p.m., at the Ferguson showroom located at 11860 Mosteller
Road.
The demonstration will feature the latest technology in water-saving
plumbing products and will focus on the environmental and financial benefits of
saving water and energy inside the home.
This
event is free and open to the public. Homeowners will be
able purchase products onsite, and will have access to local plumbers who are
certified to install water-efficient toilets and faucets.
Along with this
event, Kohler is promoting
SaveWaterAmerica.com/CINCINNATI
— a viral online campaign. With the launch of this site — and
help from Web visitors — Kohler will provide up to $1 million of water-saving
plumbing products to Habitat for Humanity.
“Kohler recognizes
the looming freshwater shortage facing the United States, and that saving water
inside the home represents the best opportunity for a family to make a
significant difference on their water consumption and water bill,” said
Luke Muszynksi of Kohler.
Web
visitors to
SaveWaterAmerica.com/CINCINNATI
are asked to participate in a three-question quiz, and for every completed
quiz, Kohler donates $1 worth of product to Habitat for Humanity, which will be
tracked in real time on the Web site. The short quiz calculates how much water
and money the visitor’s family could save if they replaced their old toilets.
Products
demonstrated at the tent sale include high-efficiency toilets that save
approximately 16,500 gallons of water annually versus older model toilets. In
addition, showerheads and faucets that use 30% less water without sacrificing
performance will be on display.
