Whirlpool Corp. announced its
Florida Contract division account manager
John Whiteley has
earned a Certified Green Professional (CGP) designation from the
National
Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The CGP distinction recognizes Whiteley as
a building industry professional with knowledge of the best strategies for
incorporating green building principles into home building.
Whiteley has worked in Whirlpool Corp. appliance sales for
the building industry for more than 18 years. In his market, he works on
numerous sustainable single- and multi-family building projects. Recent
projects include the “Zero Energy Home,” Gainesville, FL; the Sandpearl Hotel
and Condominiums, Clearwater Beach, FL; Madera community, Gainesville, FL, and
even a major green renovation of his own home. His personal goal is to be known
in his market as “the green appliance rep.”
