Swiss-based
Franke Group named
Charles
F. Lawrence President of its Luxury Products Group (LPG.) Lawrence
will have full P&L responsibility for the sales, marketing, product development,
sourcing, supply chain and customer service for all Franke’s Luxury Products
activity in the US.
At a time when some feel
uneasy with the term “luxury” Lawrence said, “This is an ideal time to redefine
luxury, moving beyond ostentation to focus on quality, heritage and genuine
creativity. These are the values at the heart of the Franke brand and the ones
we are determined to preserve and strengthen.”
Commenting on the new
appointment,

Systems worldwide said, “Charles’ mission is to establish the Franke brand as
the leading brand in the luxury products segment of the US market. This
includes the redefinition of the sales organization and teaming with a
selective distribution network that is committed to investing in the growth of
the Franke luxury product business.”
The launch of new products
tailored to the US luxury market and emerging from Franke’s innovation-driven
Swiss Competence Center will be a priority for the new US leader. The former VP
Marketing said that he wants to maintain and enhance the brand’s reputation “for
creating products that define luxury in terms of quality, innovation style and
design.”
